Went for bottomless brunch...it was far from that! Had one drink in thr first hour and then when.we tried to order two each on our next one the manager had the absolute audacity to challenge us and give us cheek when we complained about the service. Been twice now it's been the same both times ..if you want a bottomless brunch go elsewhere. Horrendous management.

Went today for bottomless brunch, went ok for first hour, then got served one drink in the second hour, would only recommend the brunch if there's a party of 4 or more, as that's the only people getting served, food was brilliant though

Fantastic from start to finish. Love the atmosphere, the vegan options of garlic flatbread, chickpea curry, spiced fries and roasted greens were absolutely delicious. Love how all vegan options including drinks are labelled. Adam looked after us and what a great job... personable, friendly and helpful...could not fault it..we don't live in Blackburn but when we do and want to dine we always visit Turtle Bay. Revisited last night 6th February and had another fantastic evening..and exceedingly well looked after by Tasha and Sha. Tried the Stir It Up cocktail (and old fashioned like Don Draper drank on Mad Men) wow it was gorgeous. Never had a bad meal at Turtle Bay Blackburn and will return, handy too as it's opposite the train station.

I went here with a friend for lunch.i had the Buddha bowl which was a tasty mix of different things, followed by the best cheesecake I have ever had, no joke! We were served by Adam who was a lovely guy, professional and friendly and seemed to really enjoy his job. Prices very reasonable. We will definitely go here again.

Where to start? Our table wasn't ready and when they set it up, they set it up for 5 people not 7, even though they clarified 7 at the door. They gave us the wrong menus, I went to request the correct ones and the manager and a colleague summarily ignored me for 5 mins while they had a chat. Not just me either, there was a couple waiting to be seated and the gentleman made his feelings clear when they neglected to so much as acknowledge them. The manager said they were very busy (they really weren't) and had things to discuss. No apology, nothing. They brought us starters but no cutlery for the 2 missing places. We took some from the next table. Then they brought 4 of the mains, told us there was a delay on the vegetarian food and by the time it arrived the others had finished. The vegan jerk chicken was awful. The fake meat tasted of absolutely nothing and the sauce was just bitter. They brought one without fries and said they would be along in another minute! They did not bring us all cutlery for the mains so we took that from another table also. At no point during the whole meal did anyone ask us if we wanted more drinks, nor did anyone ask if we were OK. My husband went to the bar himself and ordered drinks to be confronted by a very rude barman. Dessert wasn't bad but I'm not sure they understand what a compote is because those chopped up pieces of pineapple do not a compote make. The music was extremely loud, to the point where we could not hear the person at the other end of the table. Probably to drown out any complaints!!! A large service fee was added but we were not told about the fact it was optional, if I had been told, I would not have paid it! We received absolutely no service at all! Will not be returning, was a very disappointing experience and ruined our Xmas do.

I thought the amount of food you get for the cost was kinda meh. Also we asked for the music to be turned down as it was deafening and we went to socialise and enjoy the food which was made difficult. I doubt me and my friends will be going back there as it just didn't feel like a enjoyable place to eat.

Unfortunately as I have a mild allergy, I couldn't have any drink other than one that they opened in front of me eg a bottle of lager or wine. No cocktails, even the ones without my allergen in, i wasnt able to have, in case it was spilt in my drink. Also food became very limited. Its great restaurants are taking allergies seriously, that's a must however listening to individuals and taking into account the severity of the individuals allergy is a must. Unfortunately we left the restaurant, due to the above. Turtle Bays allergy policy needs some amendments.

7 of us went here. Food was great, service was good, cocktails were great. What ruined it was the 25 pound service charge they tried to put on our bill. Now If we lived in the US then fine but we don't. It seemed like they thought we were all drunk after the 7 cocktails each but we weren't so don't try and rip us off. When I told them I'd be paying the bill without the service charge the girl who served us asked if there was anything wrong with the service. I replied "not at all". We would've left a bit of money on the table but to try and put that service charge on with out doing anything other than their job they didn't get anything. When we were ordering our cocktails the girl who served us rolled her eyes and said "can I give you a tip when ordering drinks? If you all order the same thing the girl making the cocktails can make one big batch and make them quicker" like we were being a hindrance in ordering different drinks. I don't like Gin, brother in law doesn't like rum, so obviously we were going to order different drinks. We had 2 drinks at the end where we all ordered the same thing but it took just as long for the girl to make 7 of the same drink than it did to make 7 different drinks. But we put that down to the fact they slowed down serving us after the meal.

Fab time. Thank you so much for looking after us so brilliantly; my sister has a severe nut allergy and you catered perfectly for her. We've loved the cocktails and food. Thank you Ebony and her manager for being so fab looking after us.

Great service and cocktails but charged for an extra person. Manager not apologetic. Heard a neighbouring table with same issues. Blackburn store and manager’s name was Adam Dique.

I planned an overnight visit to Blackburn and searched for something nice to eat at night. Glad I chose this restaurant. Staff offer a friendly greeting and I was immediately shown to a table. I had the Kingston chicken and jerk fries and a lovely margarita style cocktail. Bill was a mere £19.50. Only drawback was they refused to take Scottish notes. lol. Luckily I had my card. It’s a common thing so I wasn’t bothered. Recommend this restaurant if you love spicy food.

Good food, but pricey for what is effectively a sprinkle of jerk seasoning you can buy from places like Tesco. The waitress didn't appear very welcoming, even though we came at a time where there was just one other group of people - kind of had a fed up attitude 🤷‍♂️ Atmosphere is nice, with good views onto the cathedral square.
